Dr. Michael Scholl is Managing Director of Homburg & Partner. He is a partner and head of the competence center Healthcare which comprises all international activities in the areas of pharmaceuticals, medical engineering, and biotechnology. Dr. Scholl is an expert on market strategies, strategic sales, and strategic marketing and regularly publishes articles on these topics in national and international journals and books. He is a highly appreciated speaker at conferences and events because of his expertise on the pharmaceuticals and medical technology market.

Dr. Scholl obtained an interdisciplinary degree in Business Administration and Economics, Sociology, and Psychology with a special focus on Marketing at the University of Trier. He spent a year at the University of Bergamo (Italy) on a scholarship for Business Administration and International Marketing students. He obtained his doctorate at the University of Mannheim with his dissertation on Multi Channel Management. For his dissertation he was granted a scholarship by the University of Texas (Austin, TX, USA).
