component pricing

Component pricing deals with the optimal pricing of services (components/parts of services) that are in a purchasing association with one another.

Especially in industries such as mechanical and plant engineering, which are characterized by a highly complex product range, the pricing of individual components and combined partial services plays a central role. The psychological price perception of the customer must be considered in particular. Even though the offer is initially perceived by the customer as being more favorable as the number of price components increases, pricing with five or more components, however, will lead to a price structure perceived as increasingly intransparent or unpleasant.
